After Orange Is the New Black, Natasha Lyonne is seen in a new series Netflix, Russian Doll, in which she deploys all her comic talent. Fans of the actress have been present and have loved this show fatally burlesque. In New York, Nadia (Natasha Lyonne) is about to celebrate his thirty-sixth birthday with dignity during a crazy night. But the young woman will not be able to take full advantage of it given that she is the death. Except that Nadia revives instantly and is thrown into a time loop that forces him to relive this night a countless number of times and die in a manner still more painful and ridiculous… Then it calls into question his mental health in a first time, Nadia then launches into an investigation of a crackpot to find the cause of this day without end. With the help of his friends Maxine, John and Ruth, she tries to put an end to this time loop of hell. But it is his meeting with Alan (Charlie Barnett), also condemned to relive the same day, which will provide him with answers to his existential questions. This comic series, signed Natasha Lyonne, Amy Poehler, and Leslye Headland, is reminiscent of the film A Day without end (The Groundhog Day, VO), released in 1993 and Happy Birthdead (2017). This has not escaped the internet users. #PoupéeRusse I wasn’t expecting much, so this is an excellent Natasha Lyonne and “WHOLESALE”, it is Groundhog Day in much more cynical but it is really good. pic.twitter.com/8BNPE1SXhy — Zelda b eaming (@ZeldaDorant) 2 February 2019, Despite a concept already seen, the comments on the series are glowing, and write a treatment humorous and intelligent. @NetflixFR I finished #poupeerusse with @nlyonne and @_CharlieBarnett !
